This Anglerfish sculpture is an original work and it was created by blending together different types of reclaimed wood sourced carefully to give unique shades and depths to this piece. This combination of hardwood and softwood will last forever.

This functional craft can be used also as a light point in your home. It includes a LED light attached to the illicium (rod) which is used in nature as a lure to attract other fish. This LED light comes with a remote control that let you pick between 13 different colours such as red, green, blue, white, yellow & purple and three light modes: fading, strobe, or smooth mode.  It is easy to replace in case the battery runs out.

Captivating and scary, this incredible fish has always hunted my childhood dreams. I kept this project in the drawer for a long time and it came alive when I first saw a beautiful drawing of Rika. Since then I could not stop thinking about how to make it out of wood.
