This Mahi Mahi Sculpture is a 1.4 metre statement artwork, carved entirely by hand in the studio from 100% reclaimed Australian timber. Only one piece has been created, and it cannot be replicated.

Crafted from a considered selection of reclaimed hardwoods and softwoods — including mahogany, teak, pine and Australian eucalyptus — each timber element was recovered from previous projects and reinterpreted into this new form. The natural grain, tone and character of the wood ensure that this sculpture will remain truly unique.

The expression has been carefully refined to create presence and depth. Subtle burning techniques define the distinctive body markings, while the carved and channelled dorsal fin introduces movement and sculptural flow. Increased timber thickness throughout the body adds dimension and quiet strength.

Only one sculpture exists.

This artwork comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity, confirming its originality and one-off status.
